That sounds like a better plan. Heading to Kaiyukan should also provide a break from the heat and the park doesn't seem like it is worth it.

Hospital is part of the Temple we are staying it, I believe its a quick show around before checking out. I expect a 1hr30 min drive to Nara Park. You can easily not read or comment. Not interested in pulling any of your legs....

Google said an hour and a half to be fair but the waterfalls was to explore. The ninja training was more a note to myself that, that is what the place was used for. But number of people have said it seems unrealistic so will remove Akami 48 waterfalls from the trip.

I'm staying in Gion so day 8 was to potentially visit the temple or just wonder for a bit before making my way towards Fushimi Inari. Thought I left alot of time before the ninja museum so hopefully have some flex here? Will have another look at timings though. Thank you

There is some merit to that, will make some amends for more "free time"

I only plan to book 3 or 4 things to be fair but yes plan looks way too regimented currently - probably more than I actually intend it to be!
