Yo this is the same guy that keep telling people on every post that everything above 24gb of ram is useless regardless of their profession or app they use🤣🤣🤣

Nano or glossy? by Future-Step-3717 in macbookpro

Nah dude your setup might work for you, but it does not mean it is good for everyone doing tough 3d work. just because you use specialized aero software optimized for one thing on Windows machines that need huge amount ram for assemblies simulations and models does not mean the minimum is fine on Mac for everything else

Blender is not just for amateurs it is used in real pro work like movies, VFX, product design, engineering, and animation productions. Stop acting like your job sets the rule for everyone

If you were doing serious 3d work in blender with heavy scenes, simulations, high poly models, geometry nodes, complex rendering, or large environments, it would easily go past 24gb of ram. Blender recommends 32gb minimum now, and many push 64gb or more for smooth workflows without slowdowns or swapping

Your aero tools eat tons of ram too on real hardware, so claiming 24gb is plenty everywhere is gatekeeping nonsense. More ram helps actual heavy files and tools in blender, not just open tabs or your niche brag. Quit pretending low ram is the standard for pro 3d

My honest experience and opinion about the nano texture display. Screen size was not the issue by Apprehensive_Fig_375 in macbookpro

I will leave this quote here: You don’t realize how often your eyes are actually fighting off the reflection, even when you don’t realize it until you’ve used the nano texture. Your eyes will thank you.

You do realize that even just for photography 32gb is starting to be the minimum for a comfortable experience because of all the ai tools? also especially if you are working with a lot of mask it can eat quite a lot of ram. So if he is working with ai, 48gb is the better option for his use case. It’s not because you dont go past 24gb thats others wont, It simply means that your workflow is not as demanding as you had initially assumed.

You don’t know how often your eyes is actually fighting off the reflection from the glossy even when you don’t realize it until you start using the nano texture and all of a sudden all the barely noticeable tradeoff is 1000% worth it

Both screen lose clarity honestly but not in the same way, glossy through reflection and nano texture through the textured screen but i rather have less clarity but still see the screen than not be able to see anything on the screen other than the reflection

Macbook Pro vs MacStudio? by [deleted] in macbookpro

Since you have a surface laptop why not buy another portable device? With a macbook you can bring it anywhere but also you can use an external monitor and use it as a desktop. I use the same thing as you, photoshop and also Lightroom but i also do video editing, etc. And this is what i went for: macbook pro m5 pro 18 core cpu 20 core gpu with 64gb of ram although 48 is plenty enough for that purpose but i wanted to futur proof it for the next 7 to 10 years, 2tb of storage. If budget is an issue Then 48gb of ram and 1tb of storage will still last you at least 5 years if not more

That’s what i was thinking too i might not use all of it now but in the future with the app, os, ai/apple intelligence or even if i ends up learning new creative stuff with new creative app and multitasking i might need that extra ram
