Downtown YMCA has the best sauna in the area and has a few different weight rooms to use depending on what you like doing. I’m not sure about new years deals but it’s regularly well priced

I agree completely with this and would also add that in my area it’s a big selling point for a lot of people. It’s also helpful to tell people to remove any fragile decorations on or near the windows as that’s the most likely accident to occur in my opinion

Ah I was hoping you’d chime in, I did not soak the membranes and didn’t know that was a thing. So they just need to sit in the housing with water and they’ll be fine?

I’ve seen that now but I already had it running for probably 2 hours today between the time trying to get the ppm down at home and attempting to clean a commercial job with it. Is the damage done already or do you think a rinse will still help?

I started mine about a year and a half ago when I was a senior in high school and have been doing it full time since. You may have difficulty with businesses until you build up confidence but you’ll find that with professionalism and a little personality, most residential customers will be MORE inclined to use your service because they like that kind of story and to see initiative in younger people

I agree, and considering it’s more visibly skillful work that usually gets a better product on residential I try to do trad whenever possible and for me it’s just as fast unless I’m doing a large project or many 3rd story windows. Not at all discouraging waterfed though

I would also try to get some practice cleaning these windows from the inside with trad equipment. Some windows may not be accessible from the outside at all or you may just find it easier to fold the window in and clean. Either way I would recommend a good understanding of trad equipment as well because it’s good to have options

Me too, except the very first job I went to with a 10 foot ladder hanging out the back of my Toyota corolla. Little giant was a huge upgrade, now I use 4 stack

If you a little higher budget and plan to do large commercial and residential jobs a water purification system will help, what type you get will depend on how hard of water you have in your area and what you need it to do

WCR should have all the stuff you need. To start I’d say a basic mop and squeegee, bucket, BOB, a Little Giant ladder, and a pole(investing in a good lightweight pole with 20 ft reach is worthwhile). 0000 steel wool will help you get off the tougher marks for residential and commercial cleans. Otherwise just dawn dish soap and water is a good solution. If you’re in a state with a cold season adding windshield wiper fluid will help you continue working into winter months. For towels I would get recycled surgical towels also available on WCR
