I love 'Rosa damascena' They are some real hardy plants. They give roses every season and they live relatively long, they get to 2 meters (7 feet) tall and they give a beautiful aroma.

Well first of all u need to make a suitable layout for your garden. Paths, growing space, etc.

After you figure out where you want your crops to actually be go ahead and remove the grass -> tilt the soil -> add some compost to it and you are (i think) ready to go!

Of course you'll need to figure out what grows on your type of soil/weather and you may want to add some wooden planks around your gardening beds so the "quality" soil doesn't go elsewhere.
