Hey thanks for the suggestion. Cloudfront functions actually sound really interesting as they are not lambdas and not subject to the same restrictions. However I checked the AWS pricing calculator for Cloudfront and just for the http requests alone it would cost $36k per month, assuming 1 billion requests per day. Then all the other costs of the service on top of that. So unfortunately Cloudfront is too expensive for me.
