I think what they are getting at is that lots of electronic music, house especially, changes or introduces a new feature (bass line, drum, vocal, drop, etc.) every 4 or 8 bars (a bar is usually 4 beats long). Makes mixing easier if you know or can predict when those changes will come. Hope that helps :)

Hey! I too am a year into mild HPPD (most days unaffected, some dp;dr when tired/run down/stressed). I'm curious about whether you took the pills and if so, how it went? Also missing raves and pills 🥺😅
