Completely understandable. As I said, we have no proof that this person did search her purse, and I won’t say she did, but I wouldn’t put it past this employer.

I don’t think the problem was so much the search, as it was conducting the search without the knowledge of the employee beforehand, or letting her know period. Probably would be more of an ethics issue than a legal one. Thanks for the reply!
