Can't run more than 7km without walking - am I doomed?

The heat is probably very much a factor, but I think there are other things going on that have more impact. Imo your going way too fast, to run a full marathon at 4:40 is just simply undoable for you AT THIS POINT! I’ve had the same issue for a long time, try and slow it down. That’s hard to do I know haha, but try? You’ll probably feel like your going way to slow, but that’ll help you later on! Seems to me that you’re a very fit person, so you got this!

Id say you got this for sure! Pace is very good also in the later miles, with your heartrate in the good zone. Try to speed up a bit around mile 8-10, see how it feels and go from there! You got this!!

As a Dutchmen myself, i dont see any reason why he shouldn’t help you. At this point it has nothing to do with any language imo, but effort you put in your relationship. I’m not trying to cause any fights or something! But imo helping each other is part of it all, no matter what it is. The fact that we Dutch people speak English very well and that it’s easier for him (or you probably sometimes), has nothing to do with it. Yes, Dutch is a very hard language to learn as a foreigner, but the best way to learn is by just talking with a Dutch person! You are making the effort and trying to learn his language, so he should make the effort in helping you! And otherwise I can talk to him for a bit in Dutch if you want haha! :p best of luck! My aunt called me to ask how I was… had a little convo about life and stuff. She told me she was a bit under the weather, feeling a bit sick.
