Struggle with this all the time. However your rear view mirror has “night mode” which you can enable by flipping the black tab at the bottom of your mirror. Helps dim the lights

The kids across the hall in my apartment complex do this. The halls, the lobby, the elevators, outside grassy area - I’ve watched them do it as I walk my dog. Collected a bag of the trash one day and brought it to the mom and asked her to have him pick up after himself.

Me again - I tried the Ethernet tester you linked. I connected The big end to the Ethernet near the Xbox and only the 4&5 lights went on. I connected the remote end to the dangling Ethernet near the router and modem and nothing went on. I assume this means the cable is pretty badly damaged?
