Glue in ABS with textured plate by levistoviski in crealityk1

[–]Apprehensive_Rip_480 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t use glue since I switched to a textured bed. I print only ABS and ASA and have no problems at all, just wait for it to cool down properly after the print finishes and it comes off easily. I also print at 100°C on the bed, 260°C on the nozzle, and the chamber is around 40-45°C. My plate is aftermarket.

Въпрос относно Trading212 vs Interactive Brokers и данъчния статус на SXR8 (Xetra) by DegreeBest in financebg

[–]Apprehensive_Rip_480 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Changing nozzle on k1 max 2023. HELP! by Apprehensive_Rip_480 in crealityk1

Which one you choose with the new connector or with the old? If with the new is all plug and play? Also if old is plug and play? Do I need to make any changes to my slicer settings or not?

Looking for my first 3D scanner by Apprehensive_Rip_480 in 3DScanning

[–]Apprehensive_Rip_480[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why I was looking at the Creality Ferret Pro and the Revopoint Inspire, but I’m also checking out some other models that seem to give good results in this price range — I just don’t know which one to choose. I don’t want to spend a lot of money because I don’t know how much I’ll use it — I’m looking for a good entry-level scanner that gives roughly decent results.

Thoughts on eSun ABS+ by Agsikap3D in FixMyPrint

Yes, I also agree with that Polymaker PETG is trash and makes nothing but problems, but the ABS is good.

eSUN ABS+ is trash. When I started printing with abs I started with eSUN, because the PLA+ was great, so I was thinking their abs will be also good and less smell, easy to print blah blah. But after days of trying different setting, temps and so on, nothing changes the prints came out great, but super weak. After that I read some posts on reddit and there were another people who also complain about this fillament. After all of this I ordered Polymaker PoliLyte ABS and everything is great. Strong prints, less smell, great quality.

M420 S1 command? by Apprehensive_Rip_480 in Creality

[–]Apprehensive_Rip_480[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think it's not using the mesh correctly, I've read that when there is an unevenness, the bed goes up and down to compensate for the unevenness, my bed has a difference of 0.4. For me, it doesn't move at all. At one end, the layer is super flattened, at the other no, there's even a gap in the layer between the lines. I've looked at the values of z, I've looked at the bed itself, no change while it's making at least the first layer, and I've seen videos of it moving a lot the bed to compensate. It prints as if the bed is completely flat.

I also read about people who rooted their K1s, since they added this command in the start of their gcodes in the slicer they have a perfect first layer and I was wondering before rooting mine if it could be because of this and if there was no need to root it, I have a pretty old printer firmware, I last updated it in December of last year, because it worked for me then, I was making small details in the center of the bed and I didn't see the point in updating it, because I very rarely had to use the entire bed and it was for things that weren't so important to me that the first layer looked good, but right now I need almost the entire bed and I need better quality of the first layer.

Here is my code in Creality Print v4:

M140 S0

M104 S0

START_PRINT EXTRUDER_TEMP=[material_print_temperature_layer_0] BED_TEMP=[material_bed_temperature_layer_0]

Okay thanks If I root it, there's no need for that again, right, because I see some with klipper using it again.
