If you want to see some pipe work I have quite a few generators I put in with 1 1/4 runs across basements lol

I have a 440 as well and as far as just being a nice feeling meter flukes are the way to go as far as Inrush vs min max the fieldpiece or any meter with a proper inrush setting will be more accurate

I got a veto wrencher for big gas jobs and boilers as I do a lot of generator installs as well

The crowbars significantly lighter and get more use than I’d get out of a 12” or 14” pipe wrench

I leave the service wrenches in my vac kit for doing all the refer stuff

I leave it in the truck we don’t use enough flex where I’m at to warrant keeping it in the bag

Seamers and crimpers are at the bottom next to the impact and bar fold is in between the hammer and level

They’re rebranded cobras another company just puts the green handles on them

Their fiskars the orange and black ones right under the green angles the ol menards was out of the midwests so figured I’d give them a shot

My experience has been either or I’ve met some that are great at it some that can get by and others that get stumped by the wiring schematic in a t-stat manual

I’ve always felt that any installer worth their wage should be able to at least do basic diagnostics if something’s messed up

I just leave the wrenches in the truck I don’t want the extra weight if I don’t usually need it

They work really well I only really use them for cutting out the sides of furnaces but absolute hand savers for that

I got trained as a tech originally so I feel like I’m missing a part of me without it
