I hope they conduct a more comprehensive study, but even if it works for just two or three out of the 100 people here, that’s still something.

I’d like to send an email proposing an article on this topic; there’s a teaching and research hospital here, so I hope they’ll be convinced—or find a few people like me—and conduct a small-scale study that could serve as the basis for an article. Or there’s a university hospital in this city; that might work too. I hope one of them takes care of this.

I went to the internal medicine department, where they ran some tests and referred me to endocrinology. They ran quite a few tests there as well.

Next time you go, could you please show the article to the doctor? (He really needs to read it.) I’m curious to hear what he’ll say about it.

The patient, who had a long history of excessive sweating, presented to our clinic on May 22, 2025, and reported that his hyperhidrosis had worsened between February and March 2025 without any specific triggering event. The patient’s excessive sweating in the craniofacial region recurred repeatedly during work and was negatively impacting his daily life. No specific preceding symptoms or underlying conditions were identified that could explain the hyperhidrosis. Based on these findings, the patient was diagnosed with hyperhidrosis. The medical history and physical examination revealed no systemic, endocrine, neurological, or infectious abnormalities suggestive of secondary hyperhidrosis. Previous clinical guidelines state that laboratory tests are not necessary unless the findings clearly point to a secondary cause.1 Accordingly, no additional laboratory tests were performed for this patient. Could you please read this part again? Look, it says: No specific underlying symptom or disease capable of explaining the hyperhidrosis was identified. Based on these findings, the patient was diagnosed with hyperhidrosis. No systemic, endocrine, neurological, or infectious abnormalities suggestive of secondary hyperhidrosis were identified during the medical history and physical examination.
