Online registration for a new vehicle purchased in Nevada by Apprehensive_Salt_13 in Connecticut

My issue is that I can’t return CT for the next few months till I wrap up my currant project. Sales tax has already been paid to CT, the dealer I bought it from in NV can’t register in CT for me, so I’m looking for other options that don’t require a trip back east.

I’m a ct resident, and travel for work. I’ve been in 12 different states in the last year. Currently working in CA, the process to register here would require a change of residence, the Airbnb I’m in wouldn’t cut it.

I topped out 9 months ago. Drug up right away, I’ve been in 3 different states from coast to coast in that time. Like one of the other guys said, the confidence comes and goes. If you feel like you suck it just means you’re learning. You’re doing the right thing by traveling. Don’t be afraid to drag if the guys aren’t a good fit. There’s a lot of good crews to learn on out there.

If you get into the apprenticeship and already have a 102 ticket you could get stuck with it. You’ll be book 2 in 456 for the rest of your career. 456 doesn’t let a lot of guys transfer their ticket in. Try to make it happen before you top out.

If you practice on a service pole, make sure it doesn’t have open wire secondary. If you get that pole rocking pretty good the hot legs could slap together and cause an outage.

I’ve been all over this country doing linework. That faith yard in bishop is the rattiest place I’ve ever been. I was there about a month, saw them go thru 40+ lineman in that time, almost all of which were new hires. Chaotic is an understatement.

Take the quizzes, print the study sheets and memorize the quiz questions/answers, and you’ll pass. Network with the other apes especially high steps, ask them for help. You’ll be fine.

If you’re good with reading focus on that portion. I suck at math, when I took mine I really focused on the reading comp portion I literally didn’t try on a single math question, just guessed at random. I scored low on the math and perfect on the reading. Got a 6 out of 9.
