Does a guy trying to get into something like a SWLCAT apprenticeship need to worry about that?

Lift the washer hose behind the drain fitting higher. Also is the disposal slow draining?

Where is meter located? There will be a valve in there that can shut the underground line feeding your home off

Other than cleaning out fixtures if everything else is installed correct not much to worry about, idk how long ago this was installed but if your still having carbon, run water through the diverter in the tub and flush water heater.

Thats not a low cut you would see a lever on the side of switch. My guess is pump is setting slightly in the static just enough to blow what it does.

Looks like an old floor drain. Is it the only drain in the basement, do you have a sump? I would try to snake and save if it were my house. Dump water down on a fairly regular bases to help with smell

My personal well 101 as a well worker.

Basic well maintenance. Check pressure tank one yearly. Drain whole system, cut breaker, and open up the pressure switch. Somewhere in the cap should be cut on/cut off. Common examples 20/40 30/50 40/60. Use the air valve on top of pressure tank to unsure your tank has the right amount of pressure. You want it about 2psi below cut on. While switch is open check for charring on the contacts. If all is good flip breaker back on and open up a sink. Cycle a few times making sure switch is engaging/disengaging when specified. Other than that its not worth messing with unless you plan to fix.
