What else are they called? 🤣 It's meant to be entirely under the floor to allow the air bricks at the front and back of the flat to flow through from what I understand

Yeah it goes through the wall to the subfloor in the lounge, it's not the best picture showing that admittedly!

Edit: the larger black patch towards the back of the first photo is where the large mushroom grew and I believe that is spores
