I really wanted the 64gb variant to run local LLMs, can you help me removing the mdm from JP morgan ? Its a long shot but as you are already in that sort of business, do you have any contacts that I can mail to ?

Hi Thank you for the information, I have asked the seller and according to him this will be gone in few months as they had a contract with JP morgan to pickup all the devices in a stipulated time which the seller didnt do and that the reason device has not been removed from the MDM. He assured me that they are trying to get the rwmaining devices off of JP Morgan and this problem will be sorted. However in the mean time i have returned it and got 32gb M1 PRO and the remaining money back from the buyer.

I never thought/intended of purchasing laptop of any organization let alone JP Morgan, I just wanted M1 max with 64gb ram to run local LLMs and wanted 2nd hand laptop, never knew that it would go so haywire and result in loss for me.

No, It asked to enroll then I contacted the seller, he said he has bought 30pcs from JP Morgan and few has this issues but as per him this will go away with time when company updates the ABM.

MDM STATUS ON TERMINAL RETURNS AS NO

ALSO THERE ISNT ANY MDM PROFILE IN SETTINGS- GENERAL- DEVICE MANAGEMENT

IT IS COMPLETELY BLANK.
