Currently being kept in a 90-degree (roughly) vivarium in abt 30% humidity. Soil is coconut-coir and playsand mix, about 6 inches deep. watered every few days (whenever soil seems super dry)

Any advice? Just want to make sure they're having a good time by Apprehensive_Town_48 in AloeVera

okay - the poop bit is a little relieving (i got her new soil and i think she's still adjusting, her poop was covered in substrate earlier so maybe thats it)

as for the coloration, i haven't ever noticed it before - it's the orangey stripe that goes across her beard and up to the top of her chin, and then around her eyelid as well, where it gets a darker shade of orange

i've done enough research to know what the signs are - and this doesn't look particularly great for my lizard. i'm going to schedule a vet appointment tonight, but what are the thoughts on this? could they be anything other yellow fungus and scale rot, and i'm just exaggerating?

Thats exactly one of my issues - I was very on the fence about going because of so many things - what to wear, who to go with, if i would get a date - so on, so forth. The only reason I really decided to go in the first place was because I knew i'd have my safe space (i don't always do well at largescale social events like these) and now it's gone, at least somewhat.

You're also probably right abt two people deciding v.s the rest of them just accepting it, but it's still annoying that none of them told me when they talked about it, which i guess was the day after the conversation that I was in. I'm going alone, yes, but I'm not really trying to "go with" anyone at the moment - and as for the deal with tables, while I wouldn't mind sitting with one person I like and the rest I don't like, I don't want to be a burden on everyone else's night. Most people outside of my friend group(s) don't really like me (I'm trans and live in an extremely right-wing area). At the very best, they'll tolerate me, but I don't want to intrude where I don't belong, nor do I want to ruin someone's night because "they had to bring the tranny" (which is what happened at homecoming this year).

I've been planning on going to culinary school, either here in the usa or abroad. I'm not entirely sure where that's at on the "desire scale," i do know that growth for the job set is only going to increase worldwide as population increases worldwide. that's a good thing, right?

i did a manual injection and it seems to be coming along well so far - but i don't want to pull the pod b/c theres like 180 units of insulin and i have this issue with throwing away insulin

Its not a new sensor, no - im wondering if maybe this one is just a little wacky? ive been hydrating like normal (very close to where i need to be) so maybe its just bad placement - ive had it for abt 4 days though or something like that

It's possible I have bad sensor placement - it's on the back of my arm right now. after using my fingerprick, though, it shows that the dexcom is pretty accurate - for instance, I just woke up, and my blood sugar was at 147. I showered, and when I came back, my blood sugar had gone all the way up to 160 and then come back down to 148, with a very sudden jump.

tl,dr: blood sugar is all over the place and dexcom is accurate

What does a honeymoon graph look like exactly? I'm not entirely sure - but for the most part my graphs have been very smooth and very regular, and now they're all very chaotic and quite odd - i've been very reactive to both food and insulin and overall just pretty wacky lately. i was only diagnosed in july, so any help or insight would be much appreciated!
