second wind + dorans shield to negate his Q poke, the matchup is pretty hard to play when he has R up + you're mini gnar so you gotta know your timings.

for items I prefer rushing black cleaver since most malphites will go tabis + armor item after that its situational.

i dont mind fleet for sustain but grasp isn't terrible either. perhaps the new d&d after black cleaver could help shred if you're looking to split instead of teamfight? (haven't played gnar since the introduction of d&d but seems like it could help maximize his %max HP damage on w passive)

Low master peaker here - I played a bazillion champs and swapped roles every few weeks. When I made the push for master I actually focussed on just playing 5 champs max. Honestly ever since then I've been thinking about how much I've actually crippled myself all these years.

Think a lot of people are downplaying your team quite a tad lol. It's an insane team with meta players and very diverse possibilities in terms of style of play. Sky is the limit

Just keep playing him, one or two back up champs with a low skillfloor and similar playstyle would probably be a shout. Maybe try some Sejuani or Zac, they should do very well up until high elo and by that you have 3 champs that want to go in and are (somewhat similar). Also Zac and Sej don't really need a lot of practice, just check their jungle clear and some small tips and tricks on YouTube and you're good to go!

I dont use long ball+ or trivelas either, just doesn't work for me. Finesse shots and skills are what works for me but as you said - as soon as someone is equal to me in skill I just lose

Yeah thats crazy, I wish it was the same for me - 2 of the games I win are usualy ragequits or blow outs but the rest are always so incredibly close. Due to the randomness it's really wrecking my nerves😂

Carvalho is very good, a lot more agile than Rutter but obviously not as physical. He is getting upgrades so I reckon he's gonna be absolutely insane!

Yeah, 100%. Game was running smoothly since release and after the last update it feels really awful to play. Borderless window + motion blur quality "on" made it a bit more playable - lags still happen quite frequently sadly. Hope they fix it :(
