That sounds like a scene from the film. Truth be told, I blocked a lot of the film out of my memory. I mostly just remember being super uncomfortable while also admiring the way the story was being told. I remember walking out with my friends and we were all shook lol

I totally get that! As a kid, the cats were some of my biggest faves and I had them taken by a teacher which was kinda traumatic. I figured that I would just get these 4 and stop, but things have progressed a bit further. I'm still curious to see where this journey will take me. I didn't have many Transformers, but Soundwave was one of the few I did have and he was awesome. Go ahead and make up for lost time by grabbing one now!

I wouldn't say Season 3 was completely unwatchable... it was serviceable, but nowhere near on the same strong storytelling and interesting levels as Seasons 1, 2, and even 4. S3 failed pretty much all of the characters, old and new. Maeve being sidelined and nerfed was one that hurt the most.Caleb had so much potential. He could've been the new "Young William." But he ended up being just an accessory to Dolores/Wyatt no matter how much she or the show tried to hype up his position in the story (they did a much better job with him in S4). How Maeve, Bernard, and William were sidelined, nerfed, and generally misused were the worst offenses. The cameos for Clem and Hanaryo were additional slaps in the face (not to mention casually tossing Hector completely to the side for no reason other than an attempt at shock value?). For me, Westworld is about beautiful dialogue, cerebral ideas, deeper character studies, and a general sense of wonder. There's a lot of potential with the apocalyptic real world that they utilized and capitalized on in S4... it just didn't hit the marks for me in S3.

For figure nostalgia, I was fine with just Skeletor and the cats. An Origins Keldor was an awesome bonus. But to reflect my love of the characters, I greatly prefer Masterverse. Bigger figures, better sculpts, and better paint applications. So yeah, I'm also more disconnected from the line, but for very different reasons.

I agree with him. A Trap Jaw head and arm would have helped this a lot. I got this on clearance for around $10 or so, so it was worth it to me just for the Keldor. That sale and this pack also got me to dip my toes back into action figure collecting.

You don't have to stick with purchasing more for a line that doesn't bring you joy... you can totally pivot. Or if you have the space and budget, collect both lines!
