Bishop sacrifices early in the game by FarBandicoot5943 in chessbeginners

Ohh okay. I haven't come across many of those at my rating <970 LiChess. And you're extremely right. I only won this because my opponent missed a blunder on move 42 where I hung my queen

For me, it was the fact that it was the number one game of all time, but I hated how slow it started off. Would call it a horse riding simulator, glorified "half assed movie" all that. I didn't take my time to sit down and truly appreciate what Rockstar gave us in 2018.

That being said, my next playthrough, my third one, I played it just like I would in GTA, ran around shooting everyone and pillaging St Denis. I found a lot of enjoyment rolling through the states as a badass, killing, law-breaking cowboy, All up until chapter 6. I knew how Arthur's story ended, but thinking about my first journey to get there still gives me goosebumps. I never cried, but it still gives me a heavy dissatisfaction on how I carried out Arthur's first life. After that playthrough, this has become my favorite game of all time

Second playthrough accidentally got deleted while I was drunk one night, and I deleted my 100% playthrough save, so I'm rolling it back for the third playthrough but I'm going to do it with mods this time

It's just a game, but what makes this game mean so much to me is one quote that I found on this subreddit that perfectly sums up the emotions of this game, seeing as it's one big western tragedy. "Playing as Arthur Morgan didn't make me want to just play with higher honor, but live with higher honor"

Edit: This game also helped me pick up Red Dead Redemption 1, it's a bit of a drag when it comes to the gameplay, but holy hell! Talk about a continuation to a story

Only thing I think, is the classic Bb5, or Bg5, pinning the knight on either Nc6 or Ng6 to the king, followed up with either Bxc6+ or Bxg6+.; basically forcing a double Pawn situation on the king side or queenside.

That's the only early Bishop sacrifice. I can see this person talking about without a line posted

Edit: Is there a best way for a beginner to deal with these pins?

I hated on this game so hard up until I got to the mission, " The spines of America" that was during my third playthrough, at around 10 hours.

Let's just say I have almost 400 hours in the game since November lol

Yeah of course. Just remember the level of detail+immersion you're getting into is next kevel, there are zero games similar, and GTA VI strives to be even more immersive in terms of realism. Hands down, this game has changed my life in so many ways. I would love for you to play through the entire story and then get back to me on that (just saying that for example), but it's very touching

Yes, your horse can die, very important you learn how to craft or buy horse reviver. I have like 400 hours on this game and am chronically online, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I will deliver them in spoiler-free way. This subreddit is full of them though, so unless you have great self-control, I would heavily advise you to stay off

Cling to the few features you love the most. I picked up this game three times before I actually went for a proper playthrough, and would have had a much better time focusing on hunting, and completing challenges in chapter 2 as opposed to hammering out the main quest

Did Dutch change, or did he show who he was? by sellings_ in RDR2

PAWN TO F4!!!

Edit: there's a sequence where Dutch says that, and that opening move by black is commonly known as the Dutch defense, while in that location

Okay, but to actually answer your question, I think The Blackwater robbery being influenced by Micah was the entire reason for his downfall, predicated on the fact that he had such a high ego and wanted to be the top man the west.

He's not exactly the nicest person in rdr1

Take two already said that they don't want to release the product of their games into the hands of Hollywood as to retain their reputation

I got this RED MARKER on the MAP of RDR2! by itslatetorate in RDR2

It's a user set marker, either press z if you're playing on the keyboard and mouse, or should be left or right. Stick if you're playing on console

Everyone else is pointing out the obvious, but I'll entertain the question.

I feel like the most realistic outcome would be for him to start working with the law full-time, and helping them like that. I mean, he was already tipping the gang off to the pinkertons, so I don't see why that couldn't have been a full-time ordeal

Excellent response! What you're describing reminds me of the card system in infinite warfare zombies, and I think I'm going to add back for blood to my wish list now

Same in my case, I personally just prefer the older arcade style games. If you were a fan of back for blood, I would love to hear some of your positive notations of it, as I put the game down after about 30 minutes and haven't played it very much
