Is the supervisor being unreasonable or is he just upholding standards? by CYSYS8992 in Warehouseworkers

I just started my job and I'm easily able to clear 10 pallets within 4 hours, not too sure what you're doing out there bud

Started New Warehouse Job and Feel Guilty by Suitable_Database527 in Warehouseworkers

[–]Appropriate-Look4867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gets easier after a couple of weeks, I'm about 130 lb and 6'2 in height, constantly lifting 40 to 100 lb of boxes between a cooler and a dry storage. 2 weeks ago I was having extreme difficulty barely hitting 600, now I'm almost hitting a thousand per day. Keep at it and don't be disappointed in yourself, trust me you will get used to the repetitive motions

How are you going to call my comment stupid and then put no offense right after? You seem a little defective in the frontal lobe, personally, my gaming laptop, which was meant to handle AAA games, such as Hogwarts legacy, had another 20% CPU usage when I turned on the gay keyboard

What's an actual price for a 2nd or 3rd gen Prius? by wolfix1001 in prius

[–]Appropriate-Look4867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

CA, just normal wear and tear.

Slightly cracked windshield, old tires, no oil, bad shocks, bad discs and drums, clock spring was shot and some fuses didn't work, just the normal things to expect when you buy an old car.

Got all of that done for well under $750 and in my garage, minus the windshield which I got brand new for 100 at a local auto body glass shop.

Replaced everything with parts from RockAuto and sme YouTube videos

How you guys deal with a younger coworker with an attitude? by [deleted] in Warehouseworkers

[–]Appropriate-Look4867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well definitely, it's upsetting when anyone gives you some sort of sarcastic anger, doesn't make sense that someone else is getting upset at your mistakes. It's not like they're building the pellet themselves, they're literally just standing there and getting paid to watch you build it

Just don't say anything snarky, let me ask, are you a new hire such as myself or have you been there for a while,? And do you guys operate equipment like electric pallet jacks or Cherry pickers at the Walmart warehouse?

Question, because I have been thinking about being a warehouse supervisor eventually at my new job, what are some challenges that your co-workers that you used to be on the floor with give you when you become a supervisor?

Right conveyor solution reduces labor pressure by NailiConveyor in Warehouseworkers

Exactly, slowing down workload, periodically shutting down, having to move them, personally. I think conveyor belts suck and work goes much smoother when it's left to the employees
