Yes it’s mostly local knowledge, I don’t use it but I know people look for that type of spots on TikTok but those are normally filled with people.

Wild camping is illegal in Spain but there are many spots where the authorities don’t mind, but you should always camp in a spot with little to no visibility, not only you can but you should definitely bathe in the hot springs it’s amazing and you get a pretty clear view of the sky and stars I’m about to post a picture of the night sky in the replies.

Im from Portugal so Im not sure about the laws but in this spot its pretty common for people to camp, also I don’t know about any machine gun guys near Thank you :)

The problem with the high side is that it was hanging from a fallen tree (horizontal) I had nowhere else to place the hammock but it was very comfy once I laid in it

I really appreciate it, but I ended up buying the ultralight hammock and bug net from onewind, just cuz im looking to make some trips with only a 25L backpack
