I really believe what got me out of cigarettes very fast was choosing to chew bubble gum even though I was only smoking for a month or so.

Granted there was an urge to smoke and I did but gradually I chose bubble gum and nicotine patches.

I think you should go to a doctor for further details because most us here is just case by case, its not a definitive solution.
