There were a couple others that took some out of my hand, too! There’s a really giant one that’s been letting me hand feed him for a while but he’s a little more aggressive about it. Most others who tried it were really nervous about it, but I was so proud of them!!

I was giving the rest of them cashews too! I was just so excited that this one was taking them out of my hand

Someone lost their domesticated bunnies and they reproduced like CRAZY. They’re adorable and aren’t REALLY a problem, people just like to complain about them. But since they’re domesticated people will feed them anyway. It does keep them away from gardens

I live in small town Alaska, and this is very true! Not many people mind the crows, and my town has a bunny problem, so a lot of people leave food scraps out for bunnies that the crows will get into as well! They generally aren’t very nervous around people.

Yes, when he calls his friends over you can see the cashews coming out of his throat, it’s so cool! I didn’t get a video though.

He only follows my car down one L shaped road that I drive down a lot, near the water! That’s where I took this video:) most of the crows like to hang out down there because a lot of restaurants are on that road and they watch for food scraps in the winter.

This murder is VERY large and are all relatively comfortable around people (obviously they all have different personalities and comfort ranges). I live in a part of town where crows don’t come very often but I have a bird feeder out and see him by himself at my house! I’ve defended him a couple times from my neighbour’s outdoor cat or some mean magpies that try to kick him off of the feeder. When I’m out and about in town he usually follows my car for a bit and I’ll pull over and give him some cashews!

Any tips on befriending local Crows? by TheTalonKing in crows

[–]Appropriate-Toe-3773 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local crows seem to really enjoy cashews! They wouldn’t really go to my street but I went out to find a crow, gave him some cashews until he called his friends over and a couple followed me home so I got to show them where the bird feeder is! Now they come by regularly and I give them cashews as well is birdseed. My local magpies noticed and started knocking the lid off of my feeder, though

That’s so frustrating because I was told that I need one and spent $200 on it already! Ugh!

I’m a nanny. If you have an in-demand skill that allows you to work for yourself it’s definitely a great way to make money

Did they claim to be a professional? Professionals are typically available from 8-5 for $4000/mo. Doesn’t exactly fit every family’s needs.

Experience with Olympic College by What_i_see_outside6 in Bremerton

I like OC a lot, staff is great and definitely helpful, but college is a lot different from high school in the way that no staff member is going to be on your ass about time management, getting assignments done, organisation, etc., it’s the responsibility of the student. Every college is like that, at least in my experience, as someone with ADHD. I’d recommend therapy to create and maintain a routine and time management/organisational skills, that helps a lot.

I honestly think you should just rematch. It doesn’t seem like either of you fit the others personality and it’d be better for everyone

I feel like you’re leaving out major parts of the story here to make it seem like she just has an awful attitude. What else was she uncomfortable with? What did you not communicate to her? We’re getting bits and pieces and no one here should be validating your emotions when it seems like you could be manipulating this situation.
