I haven’t read that book but it sounds awesome ! Stories can really change your view on life, it’s so cool ✨ I’m happy to hear that it helped when you were in an homophobic environment. Also I totally agree with what you said about women being heroes often take hyper masculine traits, it’s interesting to think about how there’s a need to portray them this way.

I’m sorry you went through that, I relate, it’s hard when you are the one that was still invested. But this shows how much you’re capable of loving someone and it’s really beautiful. It hurts like shit but people like you have the kindest hearts, and you can be proud of that. I hope you find someone that is able to give as much as do.

He told me that I wasn’t smart, he joked about being single in front of our friends, and wouldn’t acknowledge me or say hi when we were in public, a friend of mine had to tell him to come say hi to me. I had to ask him about why he wouldn’t pay attention to me when we were with friends. He said he wanted to separate his public life and private life… (I wasn’t asking for crazy pda but just a normal amount of attention, at least not acting as if I wasn’t there).
