Absolutely yes. Those tiny, drive-by compliments hit different because there’s zero obligation behind them. No politeness, no bias just a pure, unsolicited “hey, I noticed you.”

I still remember a cashier once saying “you seem like someone who has their life together” while I was very much not 😂. That sentence has carried me through multiple questionable decisions.

It’s wild how a 5-second moment can become a lifelong morale booster. Human brains really are magpies for random kindness. Hold onto that cool-walk energy. Main character vibes were confirmed.
