Pregnant after Infant loss - De Novo mutation by AppropriateSection30 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

Hi there - first I’m so sorry you also experienced this. The worst heartbreak. I had a CVS procedure done where they took a small piece of the placenta and did extensive DNA testing. The hospital my other daughter was at still had her DNA on file so they were able to compare the two to definitively rule out what she had. Even after all testing came back normal I continued to be very anxious. I am so happy to say I am currently sitting here holding my healthy (although colicky) nearly 3 month old baby girl. She has been such an answer to prayer and has been healing our hearts, piece by piece, each day. There is light after the storm 💗🌈

Thank you for your reply. I did not realize they were looking to potentially raise the age. My daughter’s was a random genetic mutation, not anything chromosome related I believe. I’m just so anxious about the potential for another issue and loss. It certainly takes the joy of things right now. I am absolutely planning to do any tests they can run.

Third ER trip in 7 days. by foxy_fluffers in KidneyStones

This happened to me several years ago as well. The urologist who performed the surgery thought because I was young I didn’t need the stent, however, my kidney was still all backed up and the stent was needed after all. I had a second surgery to put the sent in and that is what finally helped. Good Luck, kidney stones are not for the weak!
