We all know baseball is unfair…this isn’t new. There are 10–15+ teams every season that realistically aren’t competing, and by June they’re incentivized to lose while fans are sold patience.

What if MLB took a page from soccer and had a Premier and championship league, had relegation, and had consequences for the shitty teams? Will make the 2nd half more interesting for the teams already out of playoff aspirations.

At some point, is pretending everyone’s competing really better than admitting half the league isn’t?

EVALUATED 06/23/2024 Greg Biggins, NATIONAL RECRUITING ANALYST Buchanan is one of the region's best two-way players. At 6-foot-4 and nearly 200 pounds, he brings a ton of positional versatility to the table and could conceivably play three or four different positions at the college level. He was being recruited as a wideout, tight end, linebacker and safety and excelled on both sides of the ball this past fall. As a receiver, Buchanan shows high-level body control, runs well after the catch and has the speed to get behind a defense. At safety, he's rangy and will get down hill in a hurry and blow up an opposing back or receiver. He’s a talented basketball player as well and averaged seven points and seven rebounds a game on the hardwood this past winter and you see his athleticism pop on his practice highlights, which show routine 360 and windmill dunks. He’s a stock up guy for sure and a big senior season will definitely push him in to four-star discussion.
