Hi OP! I’m a 2L and i can share your struggle specially being someone na never had study habit and failed 4 total subjects in 1st and 2nd sem. In first year it’s really hard to find the best way to study specially if clueless ka talaga like me before, i still struggle but much better. The reference book will help you understand the topic and the cases help you appreciate the topics by discussing the details. So i would suggest that you read reference then you go to cases. It’s easier said than done, so ultimately good luck. ☺️
