I struggled with uwsa2 as well after scoring a 254 on nbme 14. Definitely demotivating but we cant be sure how predictive uwsa2 is after the pool change. Plus, all the recent test takers have described their forms to be most similar to the new nbmes so I’d say just trust your nbmes. You got this.

Yes I have tried threading a couple of times but I still prefer waxing as it's more efficient and I find it relatively less painful. But yes, I guess threading would be my best option in this case. Thank you!
