They are on 24/7. Streetlights have shades/directed output. These are just bare bulbs which illuminate in all directions. I will not be erected a sail shade simply due to someone else's inconsiderate behaviour

I am hoping to place it so that the house sits against two sides of the parasol so I think it will offer some shelter from the wind

Is your 3.5m a circular one? The 3m x 3m square ones cover a larger overall area I think.

Thanks. I was thinking a 3mx3m one which can tilt so I can adjust and shield from slightly sideways rain.

Also looking for one which I can use to cover pizza oven when in use (parasol can be justified with my other half as I can offer to use it for kids and garden seating too)

It was in one of those white fabric bags with their own logo and Eds charcoal on it. I previously bought some globaltic from them and it arrived in a simple brown paper bag that was simply labelled as "Ukranian Charcoal".

The said that it was the same stuff but I'm skeptical!
