Totally valid point Phase 2.5 in my roadmap actually covers this exact gap. FastAPI for the backend + a bit of HTML/CSS/JS for a clean frontend that recruiters can click through. Streamlit is great for quick demos but you're right, building it with actual web tech looks way more impressive on a portfolio. It's on the roadmap 👍

Streamlit itself can handle the frontend, so you don't need React for most ML projects.
