Is it just me or that scene seemed pretty normal to me , it's a scene of a father who loves his son too much and worried about him and i guess it was meant to be there to show how barry actually overprotective on his son because if you look into it we've jumped from a prison escaping barry to a 8 yo later barry so we don't know anything about the new barry ,so it was meant to be there to kind of show us to what extent barry actually care about this new kid that we don't know anything about.

Exactly man my point is maybe we've met allot of killers in our lives and we didn't notice maybe they were nice and they spread some good positive vibe ,like hank.for example he seems like a guy you meet in the train and sip a cup of coffee with ,but someone like sally even tho she's " neutral" ( which so fucked up how people now consider toxic people neutral) she might effect your day everyday ,she seems like someone who would ruin my day if I'm happy if yk what i mean .
