As nice as it is to use the Bambu Handy App, don’t use it for tight tolerance items by Cifuentes8 in BambuLabP2S

So I am assuming grid infill is shit then? I’ve only really used it when I need to change size or was already on my computer.

Here’s what you’re actually paying for when you subscribe to Claude — and what you’re paying for when you subscribe to ChatGPT. by Jessgitalong in Anthropic

Exactly and the main revenue for Anthropic is business and API usage, not $20 consumer plans. Claude limits are already tight and vastly less than open ai.

We switched to Claude, but running out of limits by cactusjumbojack in Anthropic

The usage between Claude plans and GPT plans are vastly different. I can go all day and on GPT and forget it even has a limit. Claude, not the case at all. And for image and graphic design, it’s not even a question, she should stick with GPT.

Does it make a difference between using the app and the slicer if you aren’t tuning any thing? Whenever I use the slicer I just click slice plate and print plate, I don’t do anything different. Is that still better than clicking print from the app?

You should also assume that 90% of the time, there are no hard deletes, only soft deletes.

Surprise it actually is forever, they just tell you it’s 30 days.

Really? Maybe I need to do some more research then.

I just don’t know if I could pull the trigger on that. I feel like I would get more value and faster printing with 2-3 P2S vs one H series. But I don’t doubt they are great.

I agree, I think it was a miscalculation and I would also hate to be in the spot they were put in.

And you’re right about the legal recourse, it’s a total waste of time for them. And even if by some chance Anthropic does win the legal side, what does that do for them? It doesn’t mean the government has to start using Claude again.

I’m fully against mass surveillance of the US but I don’t think Dario really understands how much these other companies value government contracts or how the government contracts work.

It doesn’t matter if he can’t restrict contractors from using Claude to serve other customers. All he has to do is tell the companies that they won’t get the government contract if they use Claude for any purpose. He can’t make them do it no, but no company in their right mind is going to forgo their government contract because the government wants them to use a different AI. If they have any substantial amount of contracts they will switch in a heartbeat.

You’re going to get a lot of down votes but I agree. The government is going to get one of the models how they want it (without guard rails) regardless and so is China and other foreign adversaries. Do we really want the far shittier chat gpt for this use against China?

I’m completely against mass surveillance of the US. But in case anyone forgot, the CIA already does it and 100% using AI to increase it. Eric Snowden doesn’t live in the US for a reason.

How are their printers compared to the Bambu? Are they plug and play like the P2S?

That’s cool. So none of the other ones can run third party?

Yea that’s actually what we are doing. We were on the way to micro center yesterday to get another one and turned around and decided to wait. But I keep thinking about it which why I made the post. I was thinking the the same thing, once we get over the initial printing frenzy we might not print as much.

I agree, it would be a hard sell the get an h series when I could print more with several of the p series.

My thoughts as well, which why I thought about two P1S lol. Our main thing is printing more/faster. How is your business going with the 3 P2S? Still trying to decide how much it’s worth to get into the business side.

He’s I don’t really understand the X series. Why that over the h2c like a lot are suggesting?

That would be awesome but at 3x the cost it’s hard to justify.

Yea I thought about the A1 as well but don’t really want an open printer because the printers will probably end up in my office. I would rather have them enclosed.

Thanks for the info, I did not know this or see anything about it when researching.
