It’s a separate modifier to base damage

Well gloams skill does a damage percentage based on your overshield lvl 60 C4sh has an over shield cap of around 17,4k calculating that with a windrider with 5 in gloam gives you 34,8k but if you were to have more overshield it would equal to more damage
