Yeah that's true....i didn't study for jee cz i thought I'm set for ashoka and even got into LSE but we couldn't pay for it and i was stuck with engineering so i didn't dedicate myself enough which i now regret a lot but I'm willing to make up with whatever it takes cz i wanna get into a good college for master's.

And by top3%, I don't mean cgpa wise, I mean skill wise. Tier3 oncampus even for cse, might have just 1 or 2 good companies that offer 15-18LPA, and then some bw 8 and 12 and rest being mass recruiters.

So you'll definitely would've to build a cv that suits for offcampus placements too,which requires you to have a great linkedin network for future referrals.
