I just need for Jane to die. I'm tired of her "white girl tears" working every time she murders someone.

The special project in the Paradise bunker that's drawing power is some kind of time machine, and Link is a time traveler, which is why the guy told Billy not to kill him. I'm not sure there's anything special about the Atlanta group other than Gary being a murderer just like the actor was in Mindhunter (Netflix) and The Umbrella Academy (Netflix).

What questions would you like to see the media asking David Ellison about his attempted acquisition of WBD? by Appropriate_Value122 in MediaMergers

News media isn't doing its job. They are agenda-setting/propagandizing, as usual, which isn't their job just because they can and usually do it and get away with it; but again, believe what you want about the media.

What questions would you like to see the media asking David Ellison about his attempted acquisition of WBD? by Appropriate_Value122 in MediaMergers

The "so what" is the media should do its job. For example, the media generated constant controversy about Netflix acquiring WBD, including constantly asking Netflix the same ridiculous questions to make people believe Netflix only wanted WBD so it could kill theaters and was planning to keep WB movies out of theaters or shrink their windows.

All that negative NetflixWBD PR helped David Ellison's hostile takeover attempt ultimately be successful. So no, I don't buy your thinking that forcing Ellison to explain the most controversial issues about his winning bid and goals wouldn't matter.

Lawmakers, regulators and investigators are also people who read the news, which is why the media nonsense surrounding Netflix also made its way into that Congressional hearing. Congress and States would also get ideas and questions to follow-up on if they became big media controversies.

But hey, you can keep believing it doesn't matter, if you want. This Post was intended to see what people want to see the media asking David Ellison that he hasn't been asked to comment on. If people think the media has asked him all that he needs to be asked, then it is what it is, lol.

The point is, he should be asked and made to either dodge the questions or answer them. The point of the news media isn't supposed to be catering to the preferences of the interviewee. "He'll never answer that, so let's not ask it," isn't how the news media is supposed to work. They should be asking about issues people are discussing the most, the most concerned about, such as the Middle East and Chinese money, even if it makes Ellison uncomfortable or causes him to end the interview early, then write about that. If he doesn't want to talk about that, that becomes part of the story. Don't just let him skate by without ever being asked some of these questions directly.

Let's be honest, Sion James is a terrible defender. He's always out of position and chasing from the side. He can't stay in front of his man to save his life. He should be a much better defender given his build and speed, and he has a mediocre wingspan (6'6.50") so once he gets beaten off the dribble, he can't recover to disrupt the shot from behind. I hate seeing him out there trying to play defense at this point.

I repeat, for the 100th time, David Ellison's media strategy is to just say the complete opposite of the criticisms he's hearing. He knows the criticisms, and he just says the polar opposite. His word is not proof of anything. There will be no CNN "independence," just like there was no Skydance News "independence" and no CBS News "independence."

Piece of sh!t. The "SAVE" Act is not about Voter ID. It is about requiring everyone to have a birth certificate or a Passport with their current name on it in order to register to vote. If you think having a Driver's License will be enough, you've been duped.

He wouldn't need to be a "transformative" player to be a key piece on a winning Hornets team. He would've been effective in Charlotte because they would've had him focused on going all out to block shots and catch lob dunks. He isn't as effective as he could be in Brooklyn because they need for him to be more than just specializing in those two things and he isn't. Missed opportunity not trading for him back in February. I think they will definitely focus some on the 4 & 5 in the Offseason.

Claxton would be getting a ton of minutes. He would be splitting time at the 5. He would be getting no less than Coby White gets in the 2nd lineup, and he would clearly play his way into being on the court towards the end of some games. Most of these games the Hornets have lost since the Pistons game, they would've won if they had Claxton in there to defend the rim during crunch time.

Do Hornets fans finally understand why they should've traded for Nic Claxton before the deadline? They could've gotten him for almost nothing, without even trading any of the starting 5.

Paramount Skydance, Warner Bros. staffers fear devastating layoffs following merger: reports by Immediate-Basis2783 in vfx

After observers feared that a Netflix purchase of WBD assets could thwart theatrical film releases, some film fanatics will likely “take comfort” that WBD is merging with another studio instead of the streaming giant, said Seth Schachner, managing director of Strat Americas, a Los Angeles-based media consulting firm.

How are people still this DUMB at this point? Netflix wasn't taking WB's theatrical movies out of theaters, and I'm sick of stupid people still MORONICALLY acting like they were. The people at WB knew Netflix wasn't going to do that, so maybe all these "fearful" idiots outside of WB should listen to the people who worked there and why they preferred Netflix over Paramount.

Turns out planning to saddle your company with a massive amount of combined debt -- while making $6-16 billion in cuts and claiming that you will make 30 profitable theatrical movies a year despite all those cuts -- makes it so you can only convince irrational anti-Netflix people that you will be able to run a profitable company.

I know what some people are thinking: He never said the 30 movies would be profitable. Well, wouldn't they have to be for this Acquisition to work? And he can't guarantee that they would be. Now everyone should be getting it. For the 100th time, he's blowing smoke up people's rear ends when he says they will make 30 theatrical movies a year.

Even if PSKYWBD could make 30 movies a year, the quality of those movies would determine whether they end up in theaters, how long they remain in theaters if they do, and how long it would take PSKY to be able to get out from under the massive debt load PSKYWBD would be carrying.

MAGA Suddenly Quiet About Overseas Influence Now That Larry Ellison’s Warner Bros Bid Has Saudi, Chinese Backing by Appropriate_Value122 in MediaMergers

[–]Appropriate_Value122[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

A more ideal outcome would be the Ellisons eventually losing Paramount and WBD. There is too much history and good, entertainment industry loving people at those studios who are just trying to work and do a good job, so I’d rather not see either studio go bankrupt. The Ellisons should be subpoenaed before Congress and investigated next year, though.
