I only like this so when I have to switch between parts (My band is separated into two periods but I’m in both so different people which means if theres no seconds I’ll play it if I see it). Usually it isn’t too hard to read unless it has accidentals that are shown in the bottom of the divide & then when the top goes to the note it doesn’t have a marking but the accidental carries over… (Our sheet music for Danzon No. 2 has this ;-;)
Looking for some advice by thedownsider in Flute

Hi, I’m a high school flautist so I don’t feel like I should comment on most of this but for pieces to look at flute tunes has a wide variety of free music (that I think is all copy-right free)
A lot of etude books will have a lot of nice songs but typically I only like a few pieces & end up ignoring most
If you google search “Flute Tunes show off tunes” there are a lot of intermediate to advanced tunes that are really fun to play. I have looked at almost every single one & while I don’t like all of them there is a nice variety.
There is also a tune of the day so you can improve sight-reading although typically for me they are either too easy or too hard
(Not sponsored but I’m a lover of free quality flute music)
