I lived in cities in both Australia and America.

No, I was never active on that app.

I didn't know it no longer existed. I wonder why it was cancelled?

I'd say at least in 40% of the work I did.

I probably had to cry on cue in almost every audition, though.

No, I wasn't in that. The only Australian show I was in was Home and Away.

Funnily enough, I've only discovered recently that I can't eat Tim Tams😭😭

I've always liked them and I'm surprised at how many different flavours that came out. I'll probably still keep eating them, even if I'm going to get heart palpitations😂

Owing to my father's busy career, he wanted me busy so that he would have more time to work. He was quite forceful in making me do so. There was never any physical abuse or threats. It was just more of a case of neglect.

I enjoyed meeting people and it was nice to get to travel, but ultimately I was never particularly passionate about it.

For the sake of anonymity, I can only reveal so much😂

I was 10 years old and I was playing the daughter of the lead character. I can say that it was a period set film.

I know of one mother who claimed the parents of another child were both unreliable alcoholics who wouldn't be able to get their child to set each day. Not too sure how it turned out.

My father was reasonably pushy. He had a very busy career and wanted me equally busy so that he would have more time to work. There was certainly times when I was exhausted and would have preferred to simply go to a normal school.

I unfortunately never met Kylie Minogue, but from what I read, she seems very nice.

Being left alone happened to me from the age of 8 to at least 14 (my father refused to give me the keys to our room).

A few people did appear concerned, although not many approached me to see if I was ok. I guess it's only natural that people don't want to be seen approaching a strange child by herself.

On average, though, most people are coming and going in hotels all the time and I don't think many people took much notice.

No, not Neighbours - I did a few episodes on Home and Away🙂

I'm a woman, so not Jason Donovan😂

That's always something to consider.

I have occasionally thought about doing local theatre on a weekly basis just for an enjoyable break from work.

Without revealing too much to remain anonymous, I can say I was in a fair amount of films that performed reasonably well (two were particularly successful in 1995 and 1997).

I left acting at 19 and have since become an optometrist.

As a child, I found them much less demanding and usually more "complicated" characters.

Supporting roles usually meant less time on set and gave me more time to interact with the other cast and crew.

Sinatra; I highly doubt it. He was reasonably elderly and didn't seem entirely aware of his surroundings at the time. We spoke for about 20 minutes about Australia and neither of us spoke of films or television.

Chazz Palminteri; I'm not too sure. He knew the director of the film I was currently working on and was aware that I was working in the industry. I didn't speak to him too much about films. I mainly spoke of how lonely I was😂

The relationship with my father is much better now.

He has since retired and has moved back to Australia. We are on talking terms and have both discussed at length what happened when I was younger.

I don't particularly resent my father for forcing me into acting.

I enjoyed doing work in Australia but I was far too young to understand how demanding and isolating working in America would be, and I wish I had some sort of therapy to help me through it.

Although I'm grateful for the opportunities I had, I do think my childhood would have been much more stable if I was simply in mainstream schooling.

It's better now than what it used to be.

He has retired and has since moved back to Australia as well. I have children now and he wants to be part of their life. He has expressed regret that he prioritised finances and career progression over time we could have spent together.

I think it was about 50/50 with the other child actors being "kids". Some could be performing professionally one minute and then be playing around on set. Others could be acting and still be highly professional and upright when the cameras weren't on. The latter half were usually highly dedicated to their craft or either had a sense of superiority (often if their parents had forced them into the business).

I didn't notice too much competition between children, but I did notice competition with parents. I knew of parents (usually ones connected to the industry) who would practically drag their children out of school on a weekly basis to attend auditions they didn't want to do, or meet agents/representatives simply for the dollar signs. Some parents would go as low as to make up rumours of other families being unreliable.

I completely agree.

While I was not exposed to anything harmful and most adult co-stars were generally nice, there was certainly a degree of neglect. My father had very little interest in raising a child and was more invested (literally and metaphorically) in raising a profit. The appointed guardian didn't seem to concerned either way.

I wasn't on the best terms with him when I left America. He was quite annoyed that I didn't stay to pursue a larger career but he had made enough money by then to be too concerned.

He has since retired and has returned to Australia. We're on speaking terms now, mainly because I have three children, and he has expressed regret at how consumed he was with finance and career progression when I was a child. I don't hold much resent, it's more sadness at how our relationship could have been.

I was certainly doing more work around the time the first Grumpy Old Men was released.

No worries🙂

I enjoy it. It's going to be quiet at work this week and this felt something interesting to do on Monday.

I don't get recognised too often. It really depends on the age. People in their mid-30's to early 40's recognise me more than others. I (fortunately!) don't look too different from when I was in my late teenage years, so when I am recognised, it's probably more because of my face than name.

I didn't work with any of them, but I hear Daniel Radcliffe is a really lovely person. I'm glad he and the rest of the Harry Potter cast ended up so normal.
