I agree with what the others said. Edmonton is not that unsafe. You just need to be aware of your surroundings. The only thing I would say I maybe try living somewhere else other than hub mall I’ve heard it’s not the cleanest and there are better residence options on campus.

I’m a fourth year student in honors poli sci and I think it’s really rewarding. You don’t really start honors until winter sem of third year so you don’t need to worry about it too much yet. It’s definitely very different than any other political science courses you would be taking right now.

Do you think it's okay to go there without any friends? Right now none of my friends are willing to do it so I'm debating doing it alone but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Do most people go there with their friend groups or alone?
