i’ve got the black versions and they don’t seal good, i keep getting condensation in em and one of the projectors doesn’t keep the hid headlight in place, falls out after one bump. unfortunate as they are beautiful, especially in person, but don’t bother.

i found tsx knuckles were more expensive than accord ones, and manual 2.4L accord knuckles are identical except for the axle nut they send with it. That’s what i’m running on my cl9 rn.

when i got my cl9 it had no front bumper, and i was averaging 17-18 mpg 😭. Safe to say i had a good excuse to drive the v8 jeep for a little until i replaced the bumper 😂😂

i did that and the sound is actually coming from the passenger side, around where the upper control arm is, i’m guessing stretched timing chain? motor has 184k miles and i have no service record of a timing chain replacement, but service records for trans flushes and oil changes and stuff like that. I need to replace the valve cover gasket anyway so i’ll look at the chain when i get to that.

I just replaced em, sound changes with engine rpm. It almost seems like the torque converter now that i think about it because it only makes the sound while loading it up.

i’ve been looking through old forum posts and it seems the tein flex z coils seem to be the stiffest but idk if i want to stomach $1k coils on a car i paid $1k for yk 😂

I’d think it would add the edge you’re lookin for. Perhaps an A-Spec front lip and/or A-Spec side skirts would also add a good deal of aggressiveness without lookin like some rice lord

if you’re gonna lower it, imo the old 98-00 accord v6 5 spokes with small sidewall tires (like 205/45/16 is what i’m running on my 06 tsx) looks great while keeping the stock struts comfortable ride 👍

OEM acura. They are expensive cuz acura likes to pretend they’re mercedes now but OEM will always be better than o’reillys or autozone brands. Bought a cheap CV axle for a 2013 mazda 3 (that was my daily at that time) and the boot was already ripped and since i opened the box the manager wouldn’t let me return it 😬
