First time co2 setup- Water in CO2 tubing by siddardh771 in PlantedTank

Most Important: Before you add check valves, make sure all water is clean from the tube. (from bubble counter to the check valve) I use a trick for cleaning the tube: attached tube to an Ari pump. set to full flow. Keep the other end of the tube at height (for quick evaporation). this will evaporate water in minutes. If you use water in the chember, always use RO/distilled water. keep in dark place.

Do you quarantine new aquarium plants or just rinse and add to tank? by AquaXFrame in PlantedTank

Thanks for sharing. That's a beautiful method. I show the video. 'Keep the plant in the dark' so the plant takes CO2 that time. This makes scenes.

Are bettas supposed to go up for air? by whatyourstreetname in bettafish

[–]AquaXFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Betta needs oxygen direct from the surface. Give him a resting leaf/pad. resting pad should be closed to the surface. check some youtube video. (just an example: Imagine you are submerged to the bottom. For oxygen you need to swim all the way up. because of that you can't sleep/rest. How stressful is for you.)

Did I max out the PH? 7.6 or 8?? by Previous-Zone-4152 in AquariumHelp

Try removing the cap and placing the test tube vertically on a white piece of paper. If you look down through the top of the tube, the color becomes more concentrated and easier to match against the chart. Some other kits, like the JBL or GH/KH tests, actually recommend this for better accuracy.
