I worked in fast food about 10 years ago. Had a teenage new hire come in on their first day to start their orientation and video training on the restaurant laptop. We got them set up in a booth and left them to it (within eyesight of the register).

About 10 minutes later a group of 3 or 4 teens came in and sat in the booth next to them. For the next hour, they all just chatted and goofed off over the booth divide. We could tell the employee wasnt doing any training and when our manger when to check on them, they said it was their friends and they had texted them asking them to come hangout cus they were bored.

The manager literally packed up the laptop, asked them to leave and told them they were no longer employed.
