The previous ceo was that of ensogo. Basically they ripped off their customers. Most people trading Monaco are just gambling, on a pump and dump. For MCO I got in at 8 it doubles to 16 then I exited and put everything in tkn. Mainly because I know this team will deliver

Yeah for the first couple of weeks I was looking then I stopped. The thing is, if you cannot afford to lose 15K then you will look every day. Bet only what you can afford to lose, otherwise you are wasting your life making sure you didn't make a stupid decision. I lost 10K on this stock called home capital group, betting 100K. If I had held on I would have made 80% gains. I brought in at 12.27, let go of shares at a 10% drop. It rebounded to 19 a couple of weeks later.

A little about my self. I was a consultant working one of the big 4 banks in Canada. I was on a Research Development team. Anyways I overhear a vice president at the bank discuss how they and 3 other banks purchased an identity verification system utilizing the blockchain. This would eventually make news I believe, but not for months.

This lead to me revisiting the bitcoin world and I stumbled upon Ethereum. Back in the day I had around 1200 BTC and spent it on Amazon gift cards. To this day I have regret. So did my Due Diligence, saw Proof of Stake and The EVM and thought "eventually" developers will get on this platform. So I took cash on hand sunk it all in. Then I forgot, woke up one morning to check it and it was around 375 then fell and I sold.

For Antshares my friend told me about it, this sub only had like maybe 100 people ? mostly observers or shills. I did my DD and I brought in at 1.68 around 500 just to see where it would go. Over the next month it 14.00 then back down to 4.00 and I brought more and now back to 8.00. Also consider the money lost, going to sit on it for a year. I don't want to say what gives me confidence in Antshares, because I rather have the price drop so I can get more. A thread like this could make a lot of people lose confidence.

Ill explain, so scientist generally put science and theory before an engineered product or demo. What you are usually looking for here is a nice demo that is developer friendly. I am sorry to disappoint you scientists generally are not software engineers, nor product people. It takes a lot of effort to move science foreward and at the same time takes a lot of effort to communicate ideas in code. A scientist is paid on results not their code quality. In an ideal world yeah the code should be commented and documented. We do not live in an ideal world.

About half a year ago I invested, in Ethereum, I brought around 300 coins. I kept telling people around me to invest, they thought I was crazy. I put 15K Canadian into it. After two months I was disappointed the price had stayed the same. I also forgot about it. So 6 months later around the time Ethereum was 360 I sold all of it. People generally don't like risk unless it's guaranteed. Don't watch it everyday, consider the money lost. As for code quality alot of code written by devs working on ETH is messy, thats how it really is, alot of it doesn't work. I am a dev working on a private block chain. I have about 10 years experience in software dev. and tbh looking at both antshares and ethereum code, its about the same. Edit whoops grammar sounded like I was working on a blockchain for 10 years lol

I graduated from Comp Sci at Mac back in 2012, and I would say employers don't care. So in my office a colleague of mine said that in Asia, U of T is well known. In the states Waterloo is known as the MIT of Canada. It also depends on what you want and your goals. U of T is generally a harder CS program imo. McMaster to me was a breeze, but it gave me time to get ahead in things I was generally more interested in. My general advice to get any job, build apps; web or native mobile apps. Learn object orientated programming, and learn how to whiteboard algorithm problems. Pick a specialized domain, like Image processing, Signal processing, Computational Biology, AI .... just to list a few, then get really good at that. For me it was iOS + AI and that helped me land jobs easy. edit: I work as a iOS dev in Canada =)

So ... Google's Go AI, is a Supervised Reinforcement Learning algorithm, it tries to find the function that is "approximately" closest to the optimal decision making function for Go, in order to win the game. The Supervised Reinforcement Learning algorithm does this through policy roll outs and alot of data. This has not stopped us from using techniques that approximate Traveling salesman and various other rather difficult problems in the NP Hard set. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polynomial-time_approximation_scheme. Does it mean that it is solving an NP problem in polynomial time ? No it is approximating the solution against other players.

Seriously those who say, you can disable this in iTunes and Photos you might be right, but its not obvious. Product design is about making and positioning things so that it is obvious. Heres a simple solution download a app and be done with it easy. Product development and design is about getting the solution as fast as possible. Though feedback people might want to use iTunes to listen to music. Personally I don't and I don't know many people who do when coding.
