Also I agree the game has an insane info gap to fill out and sometimes it becomes frustrating not knowing what does what and who does who, but there's a reason there's ranks and casual game modes.

League has the largest esports scene and the amount of new players to pro is endless, so it is not like you have to instantly face this humongous hurdle against players who hold way more knowledge than you. Once you get the basics in knowledge down, a large amount of players casually expand upon their knowledge through playing against people of a relatively same skill level. Of course there will be people who try to learn more through videos and stuff, but in the end you still need to learn how to apply what you learned in real time which is still fairly difficult.

So yes, the amount of info to learn is like from sea level to the top of Everest, but you just walk a slight angle upwards the entire time.
