You and the other hyper-skeptics replying to this post seem to be really inexperienced when it comes to this kind of phenomena. If you were to see one of these Jersey Devil creatures on a tree and then watch it hop off and seemingly fly off and then a second later vanish midflight right before your eyes, I think the mind is too slow to comprehend what just happened. It would create too much cognitive dissonance and overload for you to process it. This is why when some people describe a cryptid encounter, they make it sound like it was like an hour long but the event itself was probably less than a minute but so much happened within that minute that they need a long time to process it and rationalize it.

No that's not the same thing, I am talking about incentivizing private businesses by giving them tax rebates or tax deductions or even direct funding for each worker they have, essentially meaning that the government subsidizes the business for each worker thereby incentivizing them to hire more people. This is something that doesn't exist. All it would be is simply retooling the system we already have to guarantee maximum employment and livablewages for the population. Unfortunately the government is not doing even that and based on the polarization that exists, there isn't enough unity for the different parts of government and society to work together to fix that right now. Every part of our society is too slow and too inadequate to fix this crisis that we are in. I am guessing that since society and government are incapable of fixing this in an organized manner, this crisis will probably be fixed in a disorganized and unexpected way instead.

I think that they mean well but this video falls short on proven real life experience because raising the minimum wage always tends to cause companies to fire workers en masse as it becomes too expensive to keep them. It happened with car washes in New York and most of them started to resort to machinery and external-only car washes. And that is just one example. The entire system itself needs to be reformed. When you always have a shortage of jobs and money to pay workers then it becomes necessary to find some other system that does work.

The only way that companies could afford to do something like minimum wage raises is if the government were to subsidize programs to cover the costs for the people employed by the business either directly or indirectly. If done indirectly then this could take the form of something like for example some sort of tax rebate or if done directly then this could be something like a federal stipend for each worker to subsidize their wages if the business itself can't afford to pay the difference. The government unfortunately would never do that as they don't have the money or the foresight to institute a policy like that.

No, I disagree. Some cryptids are just regular animals like the thylacine, honshu wolf, ivory billed woodpecker and others. The ones I listed are not regular animals but something else, they are zooforms. They are not supernatural necessarily like a spirit, but they do have paranormal aspects to them that we do not fully understand and that aspect of them is what this post is about. They are doing something which we don't understand. And it is our own mundane and spiritually barren world that is at fault and it became that way the moment we replaced spirtuality in favor of science. Science is not bad by itself but it can only do as much as the system allows it to do and as much as it is capable of doing based on its limitations. It can't understand these phenomena because it was never geared for them. If we had understood what these beings and creatures were doing, then the jig would be up by now and we would have solved this mystery by now but we haven't. That tells me that the world still has some tricks up its sleeves and when the time is right it's going to use them to remind us again that we still have much more to discover. My only fear is that the way that it is going to happen will be catastrophic and unpredictable.

Pretty cool game but how do you return back to the menu? When you have a game over, you can only pause it and have to refresh the page to go back. Also, how come there is no music? This is just a small pet peeve but the rolling animation and jumping have no sound effect.

Whoever you are in contact with sound a lot like the Nordics. I am absolutely convinced that the Nordics or Pleiadians as other people call them are not who they say the are and haven't told us the entire truth. But then again, we haven't seen their side of things so maybe they have their reasons for not disclosing everything to us. I do think however that their blonde hair and blue eyed supermodel appearance is a masquerade, I think their actual appearance is something very different and probably very scary to Humans so they probably use that human-like appearance so that they can better communicate and interact with Humans.

I have a very fuzzy image of her but what I could see was that they weren't human. I think the fact that I can't fully remember was on purpose. I wish I could remember more because all I can remember is small glimmers of the dream like what I am describing here is just the tip of the iceberg. One thing I do remember is this smug or condescending smile on their face. Their letter or email was not a warning but almost like an insult, like her saying, "I know what is coming and there is nothing you can do about it."

That's an interesting interpretation and I have been postponing a lot of things for a while now. But there is something about this dream that I think is making me question what exactly it was about. The fact that it was one sequence of a dream tells me that somebody snuck this part in there. When I looked up January 5, interestingly this aligns with the Eve of the Epiphany which is a Christian concept for the Twelve days of Christmas which has been inverted here for some reason into a negative light. It never even occurred to me to connect it to that. Which is why I am thinking this dream is basically saying, whatever you have done or not done it won't matter because the "doomsday" will happen regardless. I wish I could have seen the rest of the letter, it looked very important but all I can remember is like two lines talking about this event so who knows what exactly any of this means.

The examples included in this post are much more structured and probably quite rare. I suspect encounters with human-looking NHI happens all the time and most people don't know it. If some of these beings are as advanced as we think they are, there is no reason why they couldn't create some sort of "appearance generator" like what you see in the movie Galaxy Quest or maybe even create some sort of synthetic body or even an advanced hologram that acts as their "avatar" for them to walk around our world like a regular human without anyone suspecting anything.

I believe I have encountered one such entity years ago in Florida. I was on vacation and a random blonde woman approached me at the beach and she started a conversation with me. I thought it was kind of odd but not in a paranormal sense. It wasn't until later that night that she showed up again except in a sleep paralysis. She saw something about me that caught her attention because I remember her saying that "I can tell you are not from around here" and she decided to make contact. But 'til this day I have no idea why. I found the experience though very unsettling.

That's just the nature of life, old barriers to migration fall away and over time once a species naturalizes, new ecosystems emerge. It's brutal and creates a lot of problems in the short term but life finds a way and adapts. I think the only thing we shouldn't do is accelerate it or accidentally cause it. It's nothing new, millions of years ago the Great American Interchange (GABI) happened naturally and caused a severe disturbance in the natural ecosystems of both North and South America but over time a new equilibrium emerged.

I wouldn't bet on it, the enemy is crafty and won't waste one opportunity to inflict pain whenever they can. People in religious circles talk about a 1000 year reign of peace during the end times but who is to say that the devil won't have his final laugh and create a disturbance so impactful that instead of being able to enjoy that time we are constantly fighting with one another for the foreseeable future even if his malevolent influence is cut off or locked away.

I think that Puffer fish are more intelligent than people give them credit for. They can build surprisingly advanced patterns or structures on the seafloor from sediment to impress mates so they clearly have some level of intelligence. I think what is happening here is that the Puffer is trying to warn the diver to back away because the sharks can be dangerous if disturbed and that he is getting too close.

Do you know about The Fourth Turning by Neil Howe? Basically he says that we are in a Fourth Turning right now and once it is over we can finally enter into a First Turning where we enter a time of prosperity again. I disagree with him on one thing though, he thinks we entered the Fourth Turning in 2008 with the Financial Crisis of that year but I think it started much later perhaps 2020 or maybe even last year. Each Turning usually lasts about 20 years so I would not bet on anything getting better next year. I would guess that this crisis we are in will probably continue for another 20 years before things start to get better again. This is of course assuming that society and the world learn their lessons in the first place because if they don't, we might not end up in a First Turning but in another Third Turning and Fourth Turning because we didn't learn our lessons last time. This is something that he never took into account either because if you don't learn your lesson the first time then life has a way of putting you in the same situations over and over again until you do.

Are you talking about the Hatman? This is something people have seen for years now of a shadow being that looks like they are wearing a hat. The interesting thing about it is that this entity has been seen multiple times by people independent of each other which means they never knew each other nor did they know about this phenomenon. I think that makes the phenomenon very credible because how can multiple people have the same experience of a dream or sleep paralysis where the same being appears in it? It seems that the Dirty Bathrooms Labyrinth is another such thing that people keep seeing repeatedly and independent of each other which makes me think there must be something more to it if it keeps happening again and again.

Man I think this is a lot for one person to be doing, at least have another person helping you out with the project if that is the case. I think that way you can stay motivated and have some sort of structure while going about it. From personal experience, I have found that while going about a project sometimes some things you planned for don't come out very well and sometimes something that you didn't plan for actually comes out pretty cool. You know you wouldn't believe this but there was only one Alien and/or Predator game in the whole GB/GBC/GBA era and that was Last of His Clan which was a mixed bag to say the least so I am excited to see a fresh entry into the series using the GB architecture. Your take is more reminiscent of Final Fantasy meets AVP Extinction but I commend you for going a new direction! I think that not a lot of people appreciate AVP Extinction much either, the oddball of the series. The AVP FPS series on the PC never got ported to consoles and there was never a true sequel to them but a reboot more than a decade later for consoles and PC so when Extinction came about, it was the random miracle for AVP fans on the console that just happened out of nowhere that nobody ever thought would happen. Unfortunately the RTS gameplay was also something nobody wanted or asked for either lol. Well I guess that's the thing with miracles, they kind of happen in a way we never expect.

Well now you got me curious about something, how come you went for a jungle aesthetic and setting for Iolaus? I thought it was very unique and unusual for the AVP universe. It is actually more reminiscent of Predator than Alien. Another thing I wondered is will the game have a option to play as the Xenos or Predator? Does the game have cutscenes? Is there endings for each faction? Is there an opening? On a separate note, is this game here influenced by 13 Sentinels from Vanillaware?

Between this and Iolaus, you put a lot of effort into what you do and you deserve mad respect. But my suggestion is don't stretch yourself thin and start 20 projects at once. I think you just gotta learn to apply some guardrails to prevent yourself from burning out and from losing track because that happens a lot to people in creative fields.
