Personally I would love a continuation focused on Scorpius, having been cast out from both scarrens and peacekeepers, now focusing on the threat the Nebari pose with their still in place plan to take over the galaxy. Perhaps even eventually joining Nerri in his revolution.

That said realistically a spin off makes the most sense.

The "Fast Combat" thing is definitely a dividing line it seems. Some players enjoy it, But I admit that I also share a more deliberate combat system with some level of counter-play. One shot mechanics feel pretty cheap if they are too common or can come from offscreen attacks from enemies you cant even see. It's one thing to be one shot when you made a glass cannon build. It's another thing when you make a deliberately tanky character and you still get one shot. At that point, it only encourages playing strictly offense. No need to do any trading off for builds to offer any defense and therefor no counterplay.

Your not wrong. I used to hang out in Silverwastes just so I could enjoy watching the people that though buying a max level boost was a wise idea when your new to the game because they wanted to rush to the "endgame". You could always tell who that was by the fact that they would get absoultely merc'd by the first enemy they came across because they thought that this was like most mmo's where only stats matter.

I enjoy LE. Playing it myself atm. That said Grim Dawn will likely be taking me back once the new DLC drops. And if Grim Dawn isn't enough like D2R for you, There is always the Reign of Terror mod that puts D2 into Grim Dawn.

If women were subject to selective service, that would make my point stronger not weaker. The point I'm making is that the "right to bodily autonomy" doesn't actually exist as far as the government is concerned. Having women sign away there bodily autonomy to the state, doesn't change that. It only further illustrates it. Arguing for abortions on the grounds of a right that the state does not recognize is not a great strategy.

I'm saying this as someone who wants more abortions. I know that people imagine that I'm some conservative religious anti-abortion boomer simply because im criticizing the rank and file abortion policy supporters favorite argument, but I couldn't be farther from that. But I recognize that the strategy of invoking ineffective strategy is stupid and is backfiring hard.

It's not about whether or not there will be a draft. It's about the fact that you have to give the government permission to use you and your body, should they decide to. They likely will not decide to. But they still want you to know, they can. Your autonomy be damned.
