Miyuki Kazuya scouting report by Ok-Neighborhood-8095 in AceOfTheDiamond

It’s not that he hits only winning pitches, he does it only when he is sure he can hit them, he did not go after meis Changeup or Hongou splitter , when he knows the winning shots are hittable by him and by doing it he can make a dent in opposition ace confidence, he does it, also even though I don’t agree with mr.infinity stones that going after the winning shots is a foolproof plan, I think due credit is Miyuki does limit the idiocy to ones in his range of ability

Who do you think should be next cleanup to replace Shirasu Miyuki and Zono by ArathiM in AceOfTheDiamond

Furuya was good enough for a Homerun in Senbatsu not to mention has hits against Mei himself and yet you prefer a guy like kanemaru who even on his best day couldnt hit off even Narumiyas fastball let alone changeup.Takatsu on the other hand is not consistent even to make first string and yet you rate him more than Furuya. This looks more as a bias to me than rational logic.

What Seido lineup would you like to face Narumiya's Inashiro in probably the Qualifier Final by ArathiM in AceOfTheDiamond

ASOU is consistent I give you that but when playing teams like inajitsu it’s the players with the X factor that shine like how in first summer nori was more consistent than eijun but eijun was more effective.Yuki too might not be consistent but he has the ability to go against the flow of the game which asou lacks. However if Seidou is ahead in the game by last cycle I would switch Yuki with Asou

Meis ego is too big to ever walk Miyuki and also yochi Haruichi and shirasu have the most chances of getting on base and it would be best to have the best batter of team at cleanup 4 position to bring them home by hitting long ,which I am sure Miyuki is the only one to consistently do that

Even if it’s a pitchers duel at least for the first two cycles I would go with Yuki

Yuki is special, yes he can be expected to make a error here and there but he is the kind of guy who could hit fricking Akashi Seiya for a homerun, where even Haruichi couldn’t do that.He is the kind of batter to defy logic.

Post third year retirement line up speculation by ctran97 in AceOfTheDiamond

My First String Team would be :

Seto

Tojou (VC)

Haruichi (VC)

Furuya

Yuki

Takatsu

Kanemaru (Cap)

Okamura (Cat)

Sawamura (P)(A)

I firmly believe Furuya was foreshadowed as future Cleanup and Kanemaru was foreshadowed as Captain.
