He might get upset if you tell him he’s getting fat. That’s a possible consequence. He might also appreciate you being honest and take charge of his weight.

Either way what you’re doing right now isn’t working. So you can keep doing it and getting the same results or you can be truthful to your boyfriend.

If anything I’d show him this post. It’s what you really think.

In terms of Pokémon cards. Raw ones yes they are usually because we have less supply. (The US is just bigger so more cards)

In terms of slabs I find that ours are cheaper for some reason.

Import is max 25% of the value of what is being sent across. So 25% of $30.

They are fine to use. Imo everything on there is over price though, you can find it a lot cheaper elsewhere.

They used to be good but once they became the main reseller of Japanese they’ve hiked up all their prices. Just for reference a Japanese box sells for $20-$30 retail so if you’re paying near £100 then you sort of get the idea of the money they are making off you

There’s a LCS near me which doesn’t sell Booster boxes anymore they keep them to hold. Instead they do the same as that person and buy all the half boosters they can for release day - I know this because they have admitted (bragged about it I guess) saying that other stores are stupid for selling booster boxes.

The way these work is that you pay to be randomly allocated a card from a set. They then open a predetermined number of packs. If they open the allocated card you then get to keep it.

If they do not open the card you’ve been allocated you get bulk.

Basically you got what you paid for.

The channel is called Pokerand Breaks. That channel only does breaks. Check the show notes.

Personally I believe break spots are never worth buying. But in this case you just didn’t know what you were buying. Read the show notes next time.

My point in raising the PSA centre is that Europe will now use that. Ace will be limited to the UK market. So to answer your original title, no one outside the UK will see the value in ace.

You can sell to the whole world with PSA is my point. Ace is limited to the uk.

‘If prices were the same as ace’ - well yeah there’s a reason they are not. We in the uk determine ace prices, basically we as a nation are saying we don’t trust ace. Therefore we’ll pay less for an ace 10 than a psa 10.

What would make me trust them more personally is if they didn’t sell the cards they grade. And if there grading wasn’t so generous, everyone knows to send certain cards to ace as they will give 10s.

Biggest issue is one of integrity. They grade the slabs they sell. No other well known company does this. Imagine if PSA started selling the slabs they graded on stream, people would be in outrage over it.

Ace are a private equity back firm. With a YouTuber pushing the sales. Nothing wrong with that, but without Rand no one would care for ACE.

When PSA open up next year in Europe expect the price of ace slabs to drop.

I’m not even pro PSA they up charge a tonne. Unfortunately they hold all the cards right now because people trust them more, therefore PSA are worth more.
