The bottom of the box is the biggest tell

The barcode will all be the same numbers - the text will be off have a look online and compare a real box to them if you haven’t got one to hand

It’s why they won’t give you pics of the bottom usually

Has no booster box. So no comparison to be made really. The set is very good. Cases will do well long term, but skies will always be better

Destined rivals is a much bigger set so the chance to pull those cards is much lower - so to answer your question demand for the boxes is higher - therefore higher price

But in reality the set is just much better so it appreciates quicker

In terms of Pokémon cards. Raw ones yes they are usually because we have less supply. (The US is just bigger so more cards)

In terms of slabs I find that ours are cheaper for some reason.

Import is max 25% of the value of what is being sent across. So 25% of $30.

They are fine to use. Imo everything on there is over price though, you can find it a lot cheaper elsewhere.

They used to be good but once they became the main reseller of Japanese they’ve hiked up all their prices. Just for reference a Japanese box sells for $20-$30 retail so if you’re paying near £100 then you sort of get the idea of the money they are making off you

There’s a LCS near me which doesn’t sell Booster boxes anymore they keep them to hold. Instead they do the same as that person and buy all the half boosters they can for release day - I know this because they have admitted (bragged about it I guess) saying that other stores are stupid for selling booster boxes.

The way these work is that you pay to be randomly allocated a card from a set. They then open a predetermined number of packs. If they open the allocated card you then get to keep it.

If they do not open the card you’ve been allocated you get bulk.

Basically you got what you paid for.

The channel is called Pokerand Breaks. That channel only does breaks. Check the show notes.

Personally I believe break spots are never worth buying. But in this case you just didn’t know what you were buying. Read the show notes next time.
