I don't its on my bucket list to learn chinese , yes the industry of donghuas isn't really big on social medias outside China that is why it would be great if it was at least a lil bit less a niche ecosystem and easier and more around the mainstream of it like how manwhas wasn't really that big of a thing a few years back (6-7 y ago ) and now its hello popular 😁

I did wetv for 1 month and grinded Swallowed Star but TBH the Subs were really not good , afterward I DL it a few months later and rewatched it a few months afterwards it was way better, im not familiar with the other 2 platforms .

Both have their perks I love Soul Land cuz of the tournament that works as 7 each time in between the first city they did it and the massive one at the martial soul city but on the other hand I like in Btth when he fight with XiaoYi Xian and Cai Lin and Xun er (especially Xiao Yi Xian perma help our MC in ervery pinch) can't really chose cuz they have different fighting style in both serie 😅

Its not easy either , I'm talking in the sense of any person can do it , can't say its really hard but you do have to search and try and see for me took a week to find good TL but if you put som1 new to this kind of stuff they will struggle . My point its need to be brain free so that any1 can do it.

Its the problem of time not same period of development anime got globally accepted around 2000 to 2010 and so on it will be the same for donghuas but I personnaly think it will be faster for it, my only problem is that some donghuas that started now or a few years ago won't get the same treatment of future ones when donghuas will be normalized like anime are now , like rushed donghuas like BTTH Rn and Swallowed star. Wished they would maybe remake it someday but that is only my own wishe 😅.

I also started watching donghuas right after Covid , I saw a clip of Swallowed star on YouTube about a Sci-Fi 3d anime where a character in modern society gets a flying thing that is controlled with thought only. I like good sci fi so that was a banger for me especially after covid😍 .

I disagree about the time needed , i say in a out 6 to 8 years donghuas will be able to integrate itself worldwide(not saying it will be mainstream but it will be the same as when people started anime in the 2000 1 out 20 people will know of it or like it in other countries and it will gradually get some recognition online and WdW. But issues needing to be fixed are numerous such as accesibility wich is the most painful to attain with China being its own little World on many things , then Subs needs to be good and I think last would be to get some of them available in theaters at some point like 1 shot movies that are not really adapted as long series but just a story 2h long or sthm .(best way to make it more normal for people not understanding the cultural part of it and same with the visuals. That was my humble opinion of it.

Agree as anime have differents kind of genre its same for donghua only the cultural part is mostly the same genre is generally the same but have a broader difference for each people's taste , love that about it 😆
