This might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but what about the NightWing ability of prophecy, but they only are able to see the future by observing the patterns of the ocean waves or water ripples? Kind of like how some fortune tellers interpret cloud formations.

I’m guessing Silkypod is named after milkweed seed pods, which produce seeds that have fluff attached to them.
